Karate-Shitoryu
SHITORYU, Our instructor, Ayano Watanabe, was born in Yokohama, Japan, and immigrated to Canada in 1998. She began karate in Montreal in 1998, and has been training Shitoryu Karate with Shihan Claude Larouche in Gatineau since 2006. Ayano obtained 5th dan (5th degree black belt) in 2023. She also has a lot of experience teaching karate to children and adults. Shitoryu Karate Ottawa is a member of Shitoryu Karate Canada, and is affiliated with World Shitoryu Karatedo Federation (WSKF).
