Shodo/Sumie Kai
Shodo and Sumie (Japanese brushwork) are Chinese-origin visual arts of writing characters and black ink wash painting in various concentration.

Instructor: Keiko Nagasawa

Keiko has been studying Shodo for more than 35 years and has received a teaching licence from Japan. Also she studied Sumie with a Lin-Nan style teacher, and is actively involved in the group Yohaku Kai led by Instructor Kodama focusing on Japanese minimalism. Keiko is also an Ikebana instructor of Ohara school.
Class: 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
