On the 30th of April, June Takahashi, one of the founders of Takahashi Dojo and 7th Dan of judo, was honoured with the Ambassador’s Award for her enduring commitment to the advancement of Japanese Canadians, dedication to promoting Japanese culture and friendship between Japan and Canada through judo.
